Afro Nation Portugal 2023 returned to Praia da Rocha, Portimão from
June 28–30, 2023, delivering one of the most powerful editions in the festival’s
history. With over 40,000 attendees flying in from across the world, the event cemented
its place as Europe's premier celebration of Afrobeats, Amapiano, and global Black music.
The festival was headlined by Burna Boy, 50 Cent, and Booba, alongside an all-star lineup featuring Wizkid, Asake, Aya Nakamura, Fireboy DML and many more. From historic headline moments to genre-defining performances, Portugal 2023 stood as a cultural milestone for the movement.
