THE ENDS FESTIVAL (2019)
The Ends Festival · Croydon
The Ends Festival brought a brand new large scale music and food experience to Croydon in 2019.
Across three days in Lloyd Park, 15,000 people a day gathered for a line up led by Nas, Damian Marley and Wizkid,
alongside some of the most exciting names in hip hop, reggae, dancehall and global Black music.
Created in partnership with Croydon Council, the festival was designed not only as a headline moment for
international stars but as a platform for South London and local talent. Emerging artists, DJs and food
vendors shared space with global icons which turned The Ends into more than a weekend event. It became a
statement about culture, community and what a modern British city festival rooted in Black music could look like.
